The Distichlis spicata (inland saltgrass) habitat type represents the climax vegetation potential on this site. Relatively undisturbed sites have a very low species diversity. This site is a saline seep north of Grassrange, Montana (elevation is approximately 1,182 m; 3,900 ft).
